Kevin McCormick joined UDST in June 2021 as the Archives and Records Librarian and has been the Head of Scholarly Communications & Research since March 2023. He has over ten years of experience working in libraries and archives in corporate finance, non-profits, academia, and political-military organizations. Before coming to Qatar, Kevin worked in libraries and information management in Canada, Belgium, and Austria. He strongly advocates for the library's role in supporting the University's mission.

Khadija Mahsud recently joined as the Research Services Librarian at UDST. She has experience working at several higher education institutions in Qatar. Along with having worked at academic libraries, Khadija also has experience working in centers for teaching and learning, supporting faculty development and the scholarship of teaching and learning. She is a passionate advocate for Open Access research, and the central role academic libraries play in the success of scholars of all kinds (from students to faculty to researchers).
