Students can loan course-related items such as books for shorter checkout periods via the course reserves service.

Physical course reserves are located on the ground floor of the Library, Building 14. Online course reserves are accessible through the "All Collections" search bar.

Not all course material is available via course reserve; course reserves are initiated by faculty. 

At most, the Library may have two physical copies of an item. 

Loan periods for physical items range from a few hours to a few days. Library staff can let you know the loan period of the item upon checkout. Alternatively, check the item's description in the catalog. Ebooks that are reserves will display the loan period online.

Course reserves are meant for short-term use only; they are not a substitute for purchasing items from the bookstore or accessing core course material via other methods identified by your instructors.
