You can browse and read books on a web browser. Look for the "Read Online" button.
Download Books
Each book has different restrictions; you may or may not need special software to download the book. If the book you wish to download requires Adobe Digital editions, please follow this link to download it. It is a free software from Adobe Reader.
Placing a Hold
If a book you wish to read is in use by someone else, you can place a hold on it.
How do I place a hold on certain books? - make sure you make an account with ProQuest in order to access the holds feature.

EBSCO’s online eBook viewer supports reading on desktop or laptop computers and tablet devices. Our reader is browser-based, so there’s no need to download special software or hardware; users simply search, click and immediately start reading.
Adobe Digital Editions
In order to download EBSCO eBooks, you must have Adobe Digital Editions installed on your computer. You will also need to use Adobe Digital Editions to transfer an eBook to a supported portable eReader device.

Place Holds - MyEBSCO Account needed
If your book of choice is currently checked out, you can place a hold on it so that you are next in line to read it. A MyEBSCO account is needed to place holds. When placing a Hold, the eBook appears in the Holds area of the Dashboard when signed into your MyEBSCO personal account. When the eBook becomes available to you, you are notified via the email address you provided when placing the Hold, and it is added to the Checkouts area of your folder for downloading.
