In Qatar, an author's exclusive rights are more closely aligned with the European Union model and its emphasis on moral rights.
A creator's association with a work is sustained for all time, even if an author has sold the rights to a work.
Moral rights for Qatari protected works are "imprescriptible and perpetual".
