EBSCOhost Databases
All EBSCO databases that UDST Library subscribes to come with built-in accessibility features, including read-aloud options and screen reader support. Gale eBooks
Gale eBooks contain multidisciplinary collections and are embedded with accessibility features, including alt text for images, read aloud option, screen reader support, and few others.
ProQuest Databases and eBooks
ProQuest includes ProQuest Central, Ebook Central, Research Library and several subject specific collections. For instance, ProQuest’s Ebook Central platform incorporates several accessibility features designed to support users with disabilities, such as accessibility mode which converts content to a plain text format optimized for screen readers, screen reader compatibility, text-to-speech function, and many others.
