What is a University Record?

An official University Record has two (2) key components:

  1. It is recorded information regardless of format (paper, video, photographs, websites, files, posters, etc.)
  2. It is evidence of business activity at the University

The Archives seeks to preserve the memory of our institution through recorded information.

Do you think you have something for the Archives? Test your record's information against the challenge questions in the workflow below. The Archives staff are available to answer any questions you might have about your recorded information.
